SignalFlare On— Emergency Location Tracker
Emergency location tracker — share live GPS, leave a breadcrumb trail, and flash SOS when you're lost or in danger.
Safe to tap. Starting the signal only turns on GPS tracking. No call or text is ever sent unless you choose Call 911 or Text location — and a call needs a second confirmation first.
No position yet. Start tracking to record your location.

Common questions
- How do I share my live location in an emergency?
- Tap Start tracking, then use Copy or Share to send a Google Maps link with your exact coordinates by SMS, email, or any messaging app.
- Does Signal Flare On work without a mobile signal?
- GPS positions and your breadcrumb trail keep recording offline on your device. Sending a location link still needs a signal, so the app keeps your last known fix ready to send the moment you reconnect.
- What happens if I deny location permission?
- Signal Flare On shows a fallback screen explaining how to re-enable location, and falls back to coarse network positioning plus your cached last-known coordinates.
- What is the SOS strobe for?
- It flashes your screen in the Morse SOS pattern so searchers, aircraft, or vessels can spot you visually at night.
- Is my location data sent to a server?
- No. Your trail, rescue timeline, and error log are stored only on your device unless you choose to share a link.
In a life-threatening emergency, call your local emergency number first. Your trail is stored only on this device.
